Joseph's Family Settles in Egypt
Joseph and his brothers receive permission from Pharaoh to settle in the land of Goshen due to the famine in Canaan. Pharaoh also asks about Jacob's age and Jacob blesses him. The chapter also mentions Joseph's management of the severe famine, collecting money and cattle from the people in exchange for food.
