Zhongha and the Pirate King Chen Zui
Zhongha captured Chen Zui and his lieutenants then headed back to China with his captives, arriving on October 2nd, 1407. Zhongha took the phenomenon as a miracle so when he returned to China he asked that the goddess be given the title, Protector of the Country and Defender of the People. The second treasure fleet would depart in late 1407 or early 1408, again riding the season's westerly winds. This would be a smaller affair than the first, with only 48 treasure ships. As before, the fleet would first go to Champa, then to Siam, followed by Java and Malacca.
