How to Separate the Note Taking From the Reading

Jeff: I tend to dig a littl bit more deeply into what i'm reading. Spending more time with the book, i can often separate the note taking from the reading. Read in one sitting, take notes in another. It was very hard for me early on, writing and not editing as i wrote. As a writer, i think you'll understand this.
