The Baloney Generator

The left hemisphere is a confabulator, or as Stephen Pinker says, a baloney generator. And so why not say that all of our beliefs that we're making free will decisions are part of the baloney that we make up? So they have a prima facie plausible case. But let's imagine we're in a baseball stadium and we see a pitcher and a catcher who work great together. They're just intuitively dialed into one another. The level of connection between neurons in the same brain is probably many orders of magnitude tighter than that between pitchers and catchers.
