Introduction
Canonical has updated the world on their efforts to use Ubuntu Core as an immutable Linux desktop base. They say, quote, they are excited to explore the idea of fully containerized desktop where each component is immutable and isolated. And that tight integration makes it more challenging to define the sandbox boundaries between applications and system components in a way that is secure, but also easy to use.
