How Much Salt Do You Eat Per Day?

If you eat a lot more salt than usual, which is very easy to do, the general recommendation for sodium intake is about a teaspoon of salt per day. Now you can have more salt than that, especially if you are physically active and you sweat a lot. And I also mentioned stress levels. So if you have a very stressful day, that can cause increased water attention because of increased cortisol levels. But normal acute spikes in cortisol are not necessarily bad. You can wake up with a bit of a pump if you eating a lot of carbs andYou eat a lot of sodium at night. but you might also look a bit fatter.
