The Hierarchical Complexity of Skills

All skills any skill has a certain amount of hierarchical complexity in it. The example i like to use is am the emergence of representations out of sensory motor systems. Children can get themselves dressed, and they can brush their teeth, and put on pajamas and prepare to be read a story. But then bedtime emerges at kind of unpacked as that's what getting ready for bed means. It means all the preparation and muscle memory and anticipation of the next day. And so that's the basic notion of the Hierarchical Complexity stack which generalizes across these family systems.
