There was actually a 32% statistically significant higher risk for mortality related to saturated fat intake. The overall analysis of the seritrino paper didn't distinguish between whether we were just talking about events or mortality. There are several methodological considerations that ultimately mean this probably isn't a study that is something that can be extrapolated from. towards the null, biasing the results towards a lack of association between saturated fat and heart disease.
