Containerized Aps for Non-Distorto Specific Applications?

i don't use many outside of my distro. And if there is one to be used, like slack, i never use that ap cause i didn't like it. I'm thinking, jeese, what's the point if it's not actually up to day? If you want to suffer to be secure, you'd hope that it was like galloping along at the same rate as the main executable. But ye, containeried aps for non distro specific ones are probably a good idea.
