graham: I think it's helpful to think the connection between maximum greatness and perfect as analogous to the connection between a the maximum number of sides of a platonic solid and the number 20. So here's a theory, let's call it a grand theory, which is that the foundation includes the greatest possible value. And my understanding is that perfection is a simple, conceptually simple property, and that from perfection flows a lot of other interesting things. It seems to me that ifif i had two beings, one could be destroyed, nd the other was perfect but couldn't be destroyed. We can think more about what virtues may or may not have some kind of explanation beyond itself.
