App Terra Solar Powered Electric Car

CNN's John Sutter received a number of emails about the app terra solar powered car. The company was founded in 2006 with this idea that it was going to produce an electric car, but the solar panels were just going to run the AC. It wasn't going to recharge the battery or run the car. Aptera did get a promise of the DOE loan, but it was contingent on the company raising 80 million from the private market.
