I started playing drums when I was nine. My process for writing music is usually like find a chord progression that you like. It has to be something that I'm interested in. And then I try to find a melody and I have this way of finding a melody, where I think of a line or I think of what words would sound in in that melody. Like it's almost like when you say you want something in your brain, you just kind of checked off the box,. And so therefore you stop working on that thing.
