Prednisone and Methotrexate: A Comparison
I want to take a moment to define some terms because this was always a little bit confusing to me. N-seds are anti-inflammatories, but they're not considered D-mards. And prednisone, steroids, also anti-inflammatory. Well I read that steroids, maybe they have a little bit of effect on disease progression. Is that all accurate? Yeah,. That is. The thinking on that has actually changed. Some long-term studies showing people who did well on just like five milligrams of prednisone for years. It seemed to slow down or stop joint progression in milder cases.
