What Is the Ground of the Confusion?

Confusion between what and what? Between the real and the unreal. We have mixed in elements of the unreal body and mind into our concept of the self. The whole of Mandukya Upanishad is nothing but clearing up the confusion. There is no physical bondage. Nothing ties us actually to this body or to this mind or to this waking world. Only thing that seems to bind us is our own confusion.
