The Evolution of Chinese Writing

Ancient writing tends to evolve in similar ways wherever you go. Egyptian hieroglyphs and Near East cuneiform had to undergo radical alterations before we can compare it to the scripts of today. Simplified cursive systems would start to emerge which are simplified written characters. In earlier times you might find that you can convey the idea of this bird with a couple of simple strokes of the stylus as opposed to an elaborate depiction.
