The Importance of Control in Relationships

One thing that really stuck out to me from this is when she says he made me feel completely dependent on him while it was clear he wasn't dependent on me so true. It's like because it's literally abusive like that's what it is they make you feel like they don't give a fuck about you and you are holding on to everywhere they say. You're too scared to break up with them because you're like I'm so dependent on them I won’t be okay without them but actually they will not be okay without you. She said the idea of like those scars staying is definitely so true in her current relationship.
