In our class, we're going to think about how this original and most fundamental statement of rights came true for disabled americans in the decades after the revolution. We will also importantly consider how disabled people faced with legal, political and social barriers, how they fought back and fought for greater equality and opportunity. So were some disabled people able to act as these rights, and not others?
