I think People like the movie in part because It was easy for people at the end of the dazed and confused era. To identify with the character who kind of doesn't know whether he's on foot or horseback anymore. I always wanted to steal from terence mallec and to create that dream like effect Was whatever the story was even you could even have a female narrator Character from a character you never see Or something like that.
