Social Media Has Transformed Human Trafficking
Social media was a massive boon for the human trafficking industry. It suddenly took this wealth of personal information about women and girls thatrr, you know, even men, who would be trafficked,. And sort of put it in the semi public or public realm. So traffickers that wanted to find women, as i said, who had that kind of suitable, vulnerable profile. Those teen agers are very vulnerable to being spotted on line through that process.
