The Realignment

The Civil Rights Movement Was Very Good at Counterintelligence
The Black Panthers were riddled with FBI spies and also provocateurs. The people who ran security in New York City, Detroit, and several other major cities was actually FBI informants. It was very difficult for them to get anything done when you have those spies inside the room. You don't know when somebody advocates a course of action because his FBI handler has told them that. A counter example, April 68, the marches in Memphis, they were not as well monitored. They did not have good parade marshals. I suspect, partly because of police provocateur.
