The Whirl Vikings and Chester
The story of Athel Flard, a woman who saved the city of Chester from an attack by Vikings. She shows serious foresight and plans for the future in her quest to capture this important Roman fort. The Whirl Vikings were kicked out of Ireland and at a loss to find lands so she offers them land on which they settle. And it's only years later that another group of Vikings start to attack the city,. And they rally the Whirl Vikings to their side. Together the combined forces managed to push the forces away.
