I wonder if part of it is game theoretical. If you're seeking agreement with people about a thing, there are multiple different ways that they might not arrive at how you think that thing is good. Liking things, yeah, maybe it just doesn't have the same emotional punch. And so I think like liking is just more nuanced, it's harder,. There's more complications with it, whereas hate, right, like, you know, if you can collectively agree that you hate someone, like, that's just easy to do.
