The Impact of the Trump Sanctions on Cuba
There is a growing movement in the United States among Cuban Americans who have joined with Cuba Solidarity activists. A new campaign that has been launched within the last two weeks of Solidarity activists in the UK and Europe, and I think Canada as well. There are laws introduced in Britain, Canada and through the European Union which say it's illegal to implement US unilateral sanctions against individuals. To do so for a British bank is actually in violation of British law. The U.S. is the only country in the world that sanctions Cuba, the sanctions are unilateral.
