The next version of the iPhone that comes out in November of 2023 will continue to use Qualcomm's chips. Apple actually bought that division away from Intel and they've been developing their own cellular modems in house. The RF front end basically needs to, at any given point, adjust in real time, depending on what flavor of 5G currently available.
