The Judge's Response to the Under Seal Order
We don't even know for sure that this was ultimately about a speech or debate clause, objection versus some other, maybe even more harebrained objection. But the idea that the only thing the judge is going to allow Pence to refuse to talk about is his decision making process as presiding president of the Senate on January 6 when the Senate was making decisions suggests that maybe the judge looked at the speech or debate Clause objection and said, well, if this applies at all to the vice president, it would only apply when he's actually functioning as a presiding member of the Senate. So that would make some logical sense. And so do we expect that we will see that unsealed order soon?
