Aretha Franklin's Death Changed My Perspective
Before her death my mom and i really bonded on music. My mind had cried out so much of my mom, she was trying to show me Aretha Franklin singing "Sweet baby james" I noticed that i was experiencing more of my mom and where she what she heard. Sometimes a song will totally re-steer me to what's important or what the truth is and dislodge everything that's stuck in my body isn't it incredible how music seems to have that unique power for people with dementia.
