It was designed such that, a, they didn't actually know it went into the chip. It's literally just like scabledegook until it passed all these conformante tests in the tely coal. The attackers were set up to extract secrets from things and glitch stuff. I think the combination of this large, unglitchable, 30 thousand iterations hatch function with random network of dates is what made them so effective.
