The Importance of Diagnosis
I think it's also really important to remember that neurodivergent and neurodiverse and autism are not synonymous. It's kind of like nested within that house. So autism is one of the main ways that someone might have a neurodivergence brain. And if it weren't for some really amazing autistic self advocacy from that community, a lot of the big heavy lifting toward the neurodiversity paradigm wouldn't have happened.
