The Limits of Language for Wittgenstein
Wittgenstein wanted to see how philosophy could describe the limits of language as the limits of reality. Part of what he was trying to do was distinguish what we can talk about and make sense from what is just mere nonsense. For Wittgenstein, some of these nonsensical statements were actually quite illuminating.
