Is There a Relationship Between Intention and Experience?

We notice that we have thoughts and experiences, and they seem to say something. Does it involve causal relations? Does it involve internal, functional roles of brain states? does it involve consciousness? I wonder if i could come at this, perhaps from a slightly different angle. And your view is that really, the thoght is actually a form of experience, or based on experience, or requires experince. So experience is the central thing. That's erathe most simplified way of putting it. But i mean, thinking about it perhaps from the point of view of people working in a a to build artificial intelligences and robots that can interact with the world.
