The Power of Yoga
Yoga isn't just for stretching, it's also a strength and recovery practice. You can add stability and strength into what you're currently doing as a runner. I think wherever you take Yoga, it can complement like it definitely can give you more space and stretch,. But there's so much stability required to hold some of these poses that in your long-term fitness don't necessarily get the same effect. And sometimes you can have problems with muscle tension or soreness from not being able to do them properly. So when I was a runner, I used to get a lot of stress in my gluteal sacyral area - which is where most runners' hamstring strain comes from.
