The Climatic Moment
In this modern age of movie spectacle, we often think of the climax as needing to be the biggest scene. The climatic moments only true deciding factors are that it decides the conflict and provides readers a psychic cathersis after the characters previous physical and emotional travails. So it's not always important for your climax to be the loudest, biggest, flashiest thing in the story. In stories with life and death stakes, the sacrifice could be the character's very life.
