Piaoli: I think one of the things that has been so important for so long, but also particularly in the last couple of years, is addressing Asian anti-Blackness and Asian violence against Blackness. She says it's easy to forget sometimes that if you are an Asian person, like that is a violence that has been enacted upon you as well. "It just underlines that point in a way that I sometimes need reminding of," Piaoli says.
