The Importance of DeSantis in 2024
Alex Castellanos: Who do Democrats want the Republican nominee to be in 2024? And like, does it actually matter? Why does this even matter? He looked at a series of polls from the Economist in UGOV and late last year they conducted at least three surveys that asked US adults the same question. DeSantis had an edge over Trump, particularly when respondents were only given Trump and DeSantis as the options. But I did think it was interesting that still between the two, DeSantis has an edge.
