The Book of Psalms Is a Book of Praise
The hebrew title for psalms is praises. The last five psalms in the end book are the concluding climatic doxology of the book of psalms, a whole book of praises. I think it's an amazing idea to pass down your praise to the next generation and let your children and your grandchildren to the thousandth generation. That's what abraham, isaac and jacob are doing, passing down to us the dences of god's hand in their lives - giving us something to praise him for based on what they were praising him for.
