How to Diagnose Sarcoidosis

Sarcoidosis is often not recognized by people who don't have their antenna up for the disease. Patients can be symptomatic from a pulmonary point of view in which, you know, usually the onset of symptoms is a bit more subacute to chronic. An acute arrhythmia and that can be the manifestation of cardiac sarcoid or patients can suddenly have manifestations of hypercalcemia. Some neurologic deficits can be the manifested of sarcoidosis. So, it's really disease that keeps you on your toes as a practitioner.
