Mass Effect 3 - Is There a Difference Between Mechanical and Canonical Bisexuality in Video Games

There's a difference between mechanical bisexuality and canonical bisexuality in video games. So like you can play Shepard as ace, but canonically speaking, that's not what the game wants you to do. And I carried that through all three games and it created a really, a really interesting story for me that went in relationship. It doesn't mean we should just ignore it as long as we recognize that there are some weaknesses to these kinds of characters. We don't have a lot of unambiguously ace characters when it comes to couple-go-go relationships. There is still valuable representation for the same reasons that Aloy isn't unambiguously queer or ace.
