If we do have a divided government after the midterm elections, what do you think that means for the fiscal outlook going forward? In short, we're probably going to see a high degree of political gridlock. There could be some areas for collaboration when it comes to policy or spending, but probably only on the margins. These things like government shut downs in debt sealings have become more increasingly political tools.
