There's a quote that you have in the later part of your book from Iris Murdoch. She says, by opening our eyes, we do not necessarily see what confronts us. And I feel like that is very related to what we're talking about right now. So much of the way that we perceive the world is informed by our beliefs and by our limited perspective or by whatever is happening in our own interiority.
