How Do You Write a Story?

We're going to try and give you guys a general overview of everything we can here, but, you know, individual results may vary. Usually, when I come into like a story, it usually just starts from like an idea. So my stuff, rather unsurprisingly, given that I write for World Building Magazine, I always start with a world rather than a story. They've all started with me kind of going like, what would happen if like the first thing I wrote the Ateleva Chronicles is about partially about a society of Polynesian Amazons.
