How to Be a Successful Author in the Age of Social Media
I still feel like I got one foot in the grave because I know what pre-internet felt like so I know what post-internet feels like. My generation grew up with social media and so the idea of telling everyone what you're going to do and getting congratulated for it in advance is endemic to my generation. It's prevented a lot of people from actually doing the things that they've set out to do but at the end of the day every generation goes through these these growing pains not every generation gets graduates into a massive financial recession which I think has had some some knockdown effects.
