Second Nicaea is a collection of excerpts from people and conciliar documents that were authoritative at the time they were issued. Dinsinger's so prestigious that it's regularly used as the standard book of citations by the Vatican itself. It specifically points out that the veneration of icons is not actual worship in the council's words. Those therefore, who dare to think or teach otherwise, if they are bishops or clerics, we order to be deposed.
