The Psychology of Consciousness
In the mid nineties, there was some activity in ai about the power of neural networks to control robots. And i got really interested in these of approaches. But still, consciousness was outside of the arena of topics that we were thinking about. It seemed to get much closer to questions about the brain, perception, mind and siousness than this very indirect way through physics. I studied computer science and artificial intelligence at the university of sussex,. which is actually where i am now as a faculty.
