How Do Tornadoes Develop?

After an extreme weather event, there's immediately talk of pinning it on climate change. Adoes are curious things in that they are really predominantly an american issue. Whether this was caused by climate change or not makes very little difference to the people on the ground at the time. But it is important to try and understand what the changes that human kind is inflicting on the earth actually look like. Unfortunately, it's not one that's easily answered.
