The voice of woodye woodpecker was voiced by a woman called grace lance. For the first ten years or so, eight years in fact, that she did it, she didn't have her name on the credits. She thought people would be disillusioned if they knew woody was voiced bya woman. The granary trees ebeckers look like a tree thats surface is covered in crumpets.
