The Disorientation of Studio East Dining
The filling station was a real sight of orientation for this emerging neighbourhood in the city. At the same time, there is a sense of disorientation at play. A lot of your projects have a kind of blankness to them. There is often an absence of openings and when they are there, they are significant apertures. And so maybe if we stand this point about orientation, we could talk about the blind light project you developed with the artist Antony Quermly. Or one's own reorientation to one's experience.
