When you do the individual downward arrow, you're trying to get up the self-defeating beliefs that trigger depression and anxiety. And it's actually super easy with this new form I've created called the rules and the roles. So number 26 is the interpersonal downward arrow. If the negative thought you're working with on the daily mood log has to do with an interaction with other people, an example of that would be a psychologist who was dealing with his own insecurity because his patient had committed suicide. He hadn't been using my brief mood survey so he was ashamed and guilty and sad and angry and frustrated.
