Palestinian Arabs - What's the Deal?
In the absence of any other feasible political institutions at all, any other channels that might allow the people on the ground wwwho were being hurt by all this, to voice their concerns. The supreme moslem council under hajamin, and the mosques and umams around palestine under his command, became the default rallying point for a population that didn't really have anywhere else to go to vent its frustrations or to have its voice heard. And while they're over there accomplishing nothing at the negotiating table with the zionis, life is getting worse and worse and worse for the average palestinian arab family.
