How to Get Away From Banks in Japan

Up to 80% of transactions in japan are still done exclusively in cash. Cash is so dominant that i paid all my bills in cash. I could go into the seven 11 and buy something worth about three us Dollars, and no one would blink an eye. They're just so used to dealing in cash that i's not a big deal. It was expected that you would have to break larger bills. But i think what really stood out to me was how many ways they had developed to make cash convenient. And it was as fascinating, because i went from essentially now i carry more cash after, after living in japan.
