i don't think the vetting process was proper when i was adopted. Given the abuse that my mam had, an the lack of of therapy and healing she should never have been able to have adopted a child. I know so many adoptive parents who are doing just they are doing what they can to meet their child. And it comes from a different place than how i feel about it.
